Tulip Festival

The annual Skagit Tulip Festival is underway in the Pacific Northwest. Last Sunday (April 22, 2012) we drove up to snap a few pictures. The weather was just perfect and we were impressed with the flowers. Please click on the photos for the larger view. We found the random red among the yellow to be a curious fascination. A close-up is shown further below.

    The fotos are awesome. i thought this is in Netherlands.
    [why didn't i have tulip fotos?]

    Pacific Northwest competing with Netherlands's tulips far out!

    Wow! What a sight! I have never seen so many tulips at one time. Each and every one of your photographs is stunning! You captured the color and the beauty of the tulips wonderfully. What a fabulous experience that must have been. I am in awe! Thanks for sharing :)
