Sunrise at Sea

On September 3rd our SET (Senior Executive Team ... emphasis on SENIOR) was once again at sea and John was on duty to capture this sunrise.  We were northbound along the coast of British Columbia en route to Ketchikan, Alaska. The mountains in the far distance reminded us of the edge of a saw ... you know, "serrated" ....  Needless to say, at 6:53 am, there was no crowd on deck to capture this scene.  It's worth it, though, as there is a certain kind of serenity at this moment of the morning, out on the ocean, when all seems well with the world.

Thanks for stopping by John's Island.
