Original or Altered?

One morning this past week John snapped the first scene below. Doesn't it sort of look like a painting?  We wondered how different it might look if we applied some digital artistry and found the results interesting.  To create the artistry we used Photoshop Elements. We still don't think our creations are as good as something done by a real artist, and of course, as with all art, everyone's taste may vary.  If we were advanced enough we would put a "poll" on here and let you vote on your favorite.  We are not there yet.

  4. The slightly different take on all of them is terrific! I think my favorite is the Rough Pastels! We do live in a beautiful part of the world, don't we!! Enjoy your weekend!!

  8. All of them are pretty to look at ; I guess it depends on the taste of the audience.

    I prefer the first one, though : nothing is pretty like natural, for me. :)

  12. (hi john - came over to answer your question. no, i took those warblers with my nikon dslr. i do have a smart phone that i sometimes take sunset and sky shots with, but it is a samsung galaxy model - over a year old or more. don't do iphones.) :)
