Stopping by the Conservatory

Typical of the beauty in the Conservatory

Volunteer Park Conservatory, Seattle, Washington

Stopped by the Conservatory on Thursday, March 7, 2013, on an afternoon with plenty of sunshine to light up the green house.

Several photos below show one of the interior rooms and some examples of the wonderful flowers on display.

Reflection ...

Sorry about this, but hope it qualifies for Weekend Reflections.  Yes, that is John's Island's Proprietor trying to take a self portrait using one of the "mirror spheres" in the Conservatory.

Sky Watch

The picture below was taken this morning (Friday, March 8th) at Green Lake just after dawn. Typical for the kind of weather we are currently experiencing in Seattle, we had morning fog in places which will probably burn off to clear skies later in the day.

Check out more skies at Skywatch Friday

Thanks to all my followers for stopping by and hello to new visitors. Your kind comments are always welcome. I have found many interesting blogs thanks to the comments left here!  A good weekend to all!

And your skywatch picture is so pretty... I like the shape and the colors of those clouds : their reflection on the water is gorgeous.
