Kaleidoscope Sunrise

No photoshop here ... just the lens flair.
Taken this morning on the walk around
Green Lake.
July, and so far in August, the weather in Seattle has been just like Southern California ... lots of sun and as for the rain ... well, what rain?  Ha ha. One day last week we got a sprinkle and all the locals were saying, Ahhhh ... finally!

We've been busy here at the Island with a number of projects, but as always, taking lots of photos that we plan to share when time permits.

Hope all of you are enjoying your summer (well, at least those of you in the Northern Hemisphere!)

Thanks for stopping by John's Island.

  4. I hear some ladies in the gym talking about the rain we had last week and saying it was about time! We here in the PNW really miss it when it gets dry for months on end! :-)
