One of the fireboats was out to salute the final, forever, departure of the Statendam, as a Holland America Line ship, from Seattle. The ship will be repositioned to Australia and turned over to new owner, P & O Lines, and renamed "Pacific Eden".

Can't resist closing with this dahlia. Spotted while out on a walk in the neighborhood, along a rock wall, and probably growing without any special attention.

I love the sky shots.I watched the Lunar eclipse from my hospital room,it was a nice diversion from the activities around me.
ReplyDeleteThe fireboat salute is very neat! And you captured so many nice cloud formations--there's nothing like a beautiful blue sky, with a few light clouds for artistic effects.
