Mother's Watchful Eye - July 28
We found this little family right next to the lake this morning. Mom is keeping a close eye on her little ducklings. The little ones are just a mass of fuzziness. Even by prying in with a close-up (below) I'm not sure how many are there. Five or six?
Be sure to click on the photos for larger views and thanks for stopping by John's Island.

ReplyDeleteA bundle of cuteness.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice surprise!
ReplyDeleteHow dear. Are people pretty good about leaving them alone? Since I moved to the Northwest, I've noticed a greater, overall gentleness here toward the wild things among us. :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable photos John!
