Google Maps -- Yellowstone National Park Have you seen the Lake in Yellowstone? YNP is mostly in the Northwest corner of Wyoming |
I've been to Yellowstone a couple of times but I don't think I visited the lake. I was surprised to find out these facts, John. I went during winter and spent a week at the lodge, cross country skiing during the day. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to see the scenery.
ReplyDeleteThe lake is now being overrun with alien Lake Trout replacing the native cutthroats. I still love it though for flyfishing...:)
ReplyDeleteThat steamboat reminds me of pictures I've seen depicting Noah's ark.
ReplyDeleteYellowstone is one of my favorite places!! Wish I could take a "cruise" on that little boat!! Thanks for sharing, as always, John!! Hope your week is going well!!
ReplyDeleteThey had some pretty fancy boats at that time.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to go sailing down the river/lake on one of these.
