At the airport these boarding ramps are sometimes called "jetways" ... so, I'll call this the "shipway." Of course, it allows you to move from the terminal over to the ship. |

Loved Boston when I was there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill. Yes, I really enjoyed Boston. Will have more about that part of the trip in future posts.
DeleteOboy, this is going to be fun. I would much rather take a cruise with you like this than to board one in real life. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you DJan. It will be a pleasure to have you along!
DeleteSuch a lovely blue sky …
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you Jan. Best regards to you from Seattle!
DeleteThat’s a great workstation!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marie. :-)
DeleteThose chairs look like the perfect place to watch the world go by.
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed! Thank you Ruth.
DeleteIt takes a lot of organization to run a huge cruiser.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about that. Some of the really big ones are like small cities.
DeleteHi John- Happy New Year 2020 to You- pleased to see your back onto your Blogging- have missed You for 5 Months- hope your well and happy there in Seattle. Cheers. KEV.
ReplyDeleteThank you KEV - Great to hear from you and Happy New Year to you. All is well here, how are you? Australia has been on the Front Page of the news up here. I pray you have not had trouble with the fires. Best regards to you, John
DeleteHi John- re: Bush Fires- Thankfully we are some distance from the fires here at Bradbury NSW...all up since this all started there has been over 8,000,000 Acres burnt out with 1700 Homes lost and eighteen fatalities...there seems no end to it all- tonight and tomorrow is forecast strong winds in the vercinity of the Snowy Mountains in the south of our State- a difficult task for the Rural Fire Service...we've Canadian, New Zealand and American Fire Fighters here to help. Things can only get better as we move into 2020. Regards. KEV.
DeleteHello, The New England cruise sounds like a fun time. I have only driven around Boston heading further north. I'm sure Boston is a great city to visit. Wishing you a happy day!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, You are so right, Boston was fascinating. There is so much history there, I barely scratched the surface. I will have more about the days spent in Boston on future posts. Thanks and have a happy day!
DeleteHi John!
