Scenes of Fall

Hello from Seattle where we are well into the fall.  After a record breaking spell of dryness, the rains have returned, the days are shorter, and the beauty continues.  The photos we're sharing today are all from the iPhone, except for the last one from the Sony RX100. Please be sure to click on a photo to see the larger views.

Nearly full moon over Green Lake last night
Walking in the rain ... yes, we do that!

Watch out for the puddles

We wish to express special gratitude to all who leave us the kind, encouraging comments.  And of course, thank you all for stopping by John's Island.

  3. the reflections are beautiful, but i love that murky sky in the first.

  4. Beautiful pictures. Those iPhones are great to have with us wherever we go.

  5. I have no idea what I like best : the full moonlight reflection shot ? Or the Seattle Japanese Garden... I'll keep them both in my heart.

  6. We do live in a beautiful part of the world, don't we!! Beautiful captures, wonderful colors and I do love the moon! Have a great weekend!!

  7. Lovely photos with great reflections!

  8. Like the way the brilliant fall colors are reflected in the water.

  9. I love those maple trees or whatever tree it is.
