Largest Circular Saw in the World [1909]

About two years ago, in November, 2014, we posted the image below and called it a Bear of a Log.


Could this be the saw that was used on that log? ...

    I'm wondering about the picture. Could it be a painting? Could it be exaggerated in some way? However it makes for an interesting post card.
