Jasper National Park Canadian Rockies |
Back on May 13th, in our post about Mount Rainier National Park, we asked if you had a favorite National Park. Blogger Red, from Hiawatha House, commented: How about Banff and Jasper? So, this one is for you, Red!
Jasper is known as the "Showplace of the Canadian Rockies" ... and it is a spectacular Park!
Note: The size of these images may not be big enough for you to read the text, but they should give you the flavor of the brochure and we hope you enjoy the photos.

Have you ever visited one of Canada's National Parks?
Thanks for stopping by John's Island.
Love it, John. Did I mention Yosemite? Or did I just think about it later? :-)
ReplyDeleteHello, I would love to visit Jasper! Thanks for sharing your collection. Happy Friday, enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteNever visited. But I love it. Jasper is a Dutch boy's name :-)
ReplyDeleteI have long admired the beauty of Banff and Jasper. The closest I got was visiting family in the Okanagan Valley and travelling to Whistler/Blackcomb. We really loved the scenery.
ReplyDeleteThe brochures are wonderful to see!
Thanks so much for sharing, John!
one for red, indeed. :)
ReplyDeleteFrom the thumbnail I totally expected that to be a candy wrapper! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such beautiful scenery, but I can't go to Canadian because I'm afraid of bears.
Canadian parks, that is! ;-)
DeleteI like Jasper because it's much quieter than Banff. The mountain scenery is spectacular in both parks. the drive from Jasper to Banff is one of the best you could take.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering why I had never heard of it...but reading it is in Canada explains that! Looks like a nice place to camp...but with bears around, I'd definitely prefer to spend the night in a cabin than tent-camping! Thanks for sharing the brochure! And thank you for your insights on the election!
ReplyDeleteWe camped there several times on trips to Pacific Rim on Vancouver Island. Been in many Canadian National Parks from BC. to the Maritimes and loved them all...:)Ok in the heat of Minnesotas summer we liked to head north for some cool Canadian air.
ReplyDeleteSo interesting, indeed.
