  2. Hello, the kayak regatta looks like a neat event at the lake. I always enjoy seeing the geese and the cute goslings. I wish I had the balance to stand on those paddle boards, looks like fun! Great photos and pretty views of the lake. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, have a happy weekend. PS, thanks for leaving me a comment.

  3. I grew up at, in and around Green Lake. What a great place in the middle of a city. Green Lake and Woodland Park I think I spent more time there than at home----oh they were my home. LOL

  10. Hi John!

Thank you for your nice comments. I just want to say that you don´t need to bother with Google translation writing on my blog. I understand most of what I read in English, writing is a bit more complicated as you can see.

You are lucky to live in such great environment, water gives so much pleasure for both humans and animals as we can see from your pictures.

And yes, I live in the woodlands in the middle of Sweden where I´ve created a garden.

    Happy walking!

  11. I get such a kick out of the people that are able to stand up and balance on those boards to propel through the water. The board would be on top of me! You sure have a pretty lake to walk around and lots of activity there on some days-wildlife and otherwise.
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment on the porch post. Have a blessed Sunday- Diana

  13. Such a beautiful place. I recently learned that Canada geese team up during the period after molting when they hatch the eggs in May. They cannot fly until their feathers return. I sure enjoy your (our) walks, John. :-)

  14. Looks like fun for the young the young folk but with my vertigo I don't thing I would have stood up to paddle in my canoe much less a kayak that close to the waterline...
