Dahlia Garden Early June Update

This year we'll keep you updated on the Volunteer Park Dahlia Garden.  Our first look was on May 22nd. We were back for another look on June 4th and, as you can see in this post, the dahlias are making a little progress. The weather has been quite nice and conducive to gardening. First bloom last year was in early July. We will check back again in late June.
All of the dahlias are identified
with these stakes and labels.

The garden is basically divided into two large
parts: north and south. The view above shows
a portion of the north section.

Here is a "postcard view" for you from
John's Island. This spot is just west of
the dahlia garden.
Thank you for stopping by John's Island.
