Birds and Flowers -- First Day Issues [Part 10]

Thank you for all the encouraging comments on this series of posts! As of today's post, we've covered 30 of the 50 U. S. States. We are looking forward to asking you to pick an overall favorite when we are done. And we wonder how many of you will pick your own State. :-)

  5. Beautiful series, John. My favourite this time is New Hampshire. I have been to New England and I love it there. Even though I haven't been there for quite sometime (over a decade now), I have fond memories of Vermont and New Hampshire.

  8. I just noticed that you were putting on license plate slogans. Now I'll have to go back and find out what I missed. I'm surprised how many times the same bird or flower is used.

  9. I have enjoyed testing my husband on the American birds to see if if he can identify them. He did not do to bad !!

  14. These are just wonderful! I am not going to go back to beginning because I suspect that's quite far but I want to enjoy some of these I have missed.
