First Snow -- Nov 29 2014

As we write this it's Saturday morning, about 8 am, and we are experiencing our first snowfall of the season here in Seattle. There is a very slight accumulation on cooler surfaces, nothing on the streets yet. Since we don't need to drive anywhere we think it looks great! We do hope it doesn't turn into something like the scene on one of our old postcards ...

    I remember snow banks on the side of the road when I was growing up in Michigan. Though, they weren't that high!

    The gorgeous most beautiful highway in American... the Beartooth. I think I might have been on it that day....: Us flyfishing types can't wait to get to Yellowstone!

    Great old post card! I do remember when the snow was that high. Seems like it doesn't get that high in most places anymore.

    That looks like it could have been from the Mt. Baker area in the middle of winter! It looks just like that. :-)
