Answering your questions:

To Kerri and Happyone … We have been collecting old post cards for 20+ years.  It’s difficult to say how many we have but probably a couple of thousand. There are basically two sources we’ve used:  1.  Memorabilia “swap meets” or “shows” where dealers and collectors gather around the country, usually once a year in a particular location, and 2. More recently, online auctions. Thank you for your questions.

Thank you for stopping by John's Island.

  1. I think that missing word is "line" as in writing a line (while) riding... but Millie didn't believe in punctuation, apparently. That's quite a picture! :-)

  2. Love the picture. Millie's message reminds me of how I feel tired all the time! LOL I agree with DJan that the word is "line".

  3. I love that picture. So special. And interesting.

  4. I guess home can be anywhere. : )
Wow that's a lot of cards you have collected. Thanks for the info.

  5. Oh John how interesting a hobby. Lots of cards all those years wow! . I see now where you collect them. And do with them.

    Enjoyed the Bachelors dream.

  6. I agree with "line"...writing a line of information to whomever. Interesting.

  7. That is quite a little getaway. And, I do mean little.
