May 14 at Green Lake

Rainy, late start today at Green Lake ...

A rainy day for a walk today at Green Lake, Seattle, WA
May 14, 2019
Today was the 78th day I have walked about 3 miles without missing a day. Tomorrow I plan to include some photos of my walk through a rainforest in British Columbia last week.

  1. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment, John. I know you don't know me from Adam but I would like to have your email address. I usually comment back directly to the person when they comment on my blog. Yours shows up as a NoReply when you leave a comment. My direct email is dianakos1@gmail.com
If you aren't comfortable doing that with just getting to know me that's okay--no problem.

That is wonderful work you are doing at the hospital. I took early retirement from the hospital a few years ago (patient access) and last year went back to work with my son full time and partnered with him in a business. I also volunteer at the big VA here-but am taking the summer off because my son is so busy. My husband works as a chaplain at the hospital I left.

Looking forward to seeing more of your walks. Diana

  3. A rainforest in British Columbia! I think of South America for some reason when I hear the word rainforest, but not Canada. Not sure why!

  6. Hi John. Good to see the rain towards Summer as it makes things grow well and greens things up no end. We're still in Drought with our Sydney dam water supply down to below 50% - we're about to go into a period of severe water restrictions imposed on us by Government. I rue the day when Government announce the building of new dams- probably never happen in my life time. Cheers. KEV.
