Today I'm linking up with Michelle's Thankful Thursday because I'm thankful that I'm able, at my age, to walk daily and enjoy the beauty of nature. These daily walks of about 3 miles have truly improved my sense of well being. I went to the dentist last week for a regular cleaning. The first thing they do is take the blood pressure. I got the best results I have ever had in my whole life. The dentist said, Wow, What's changed? I told her I've been walking every day since late February. So, I'm just feeling thankful today. Thank you Michelle for hosting the meme.

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize things could change so quickly. Wow! Just a little walking and everything improves! 🙂
Inspiring!
I appreciate your visit today, John. Glad to hear that your walks are improving your health. I enjoy your views on your side of this country. I hope you keep walking!
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to hear that not only are you out there seeing the beauty, but your health is benefiting as well. The duck, does look like a Mallard, but I would guess maybe a partial albino.
ReplyDeleteWhat good news about the walking and your health. I know it has given me something to look forward to and enjoy! And share on our blogs! ENJOY!!!
ReplyDeleteNice humid air feels refreshing. we get very dry air with low humidity.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear that your walking is helping you keep healthy!!
ReplyDeleteSure does look like a mallard but have never seen one that color. I think Ruth may be right.
What good news about your BP! Yay for you, John. It will give you even more incentive to keep it up. :-)
ReplyDeleteHello, the walking is really good for you, congrats! I think the duck is a hybrid Mallard. Beautiful views and photos from your walk.
ReplyDeleteHi John,
ReplyDeleteGood on you for taking the steps- literally- to help your general health. I've just finished eight weeks with first the Dentist- then the Dental Technician...a bit of a saga- but it is over now and I have my smile back after decade- feels good to look healthy again certainly. I enjoy your Postings. Regards. KEV.
